Tandem Club What's On Entry
Introduction
All of the Tandem Club's What's On Events are added to a computer
database. The content of this database is made available on the Tandem
Club's web site allowing Internet users to find out what Tandem Club
events are happening and is also used for generating the What's On
pages in the Tandem Club's magazine. The Tandem Club magazine editor
will pull off the information from the database when needed for journal
publication.
Adding Event Entries
Either a Tandem Club Regional Officer or other Tandem Club member can
add a What's On entry in one of two ways:
- Directly using the Internet. To do this simply fill in one of the
two forms listed below and submit it to the Tandem Club's database. The
database will be updated immediately and can be viewed with the
"Display Tandem Club What's On List for web
site" link below. Within 1 minute new static web
pages will be created and uploaded to the Tandem Club's main web site.
- By filling in a paper form and posing it in. Either print out the
printable multiple Tandem event form given below or obtain this form
from the Tandem Club, fill it in and send it to: "Tandem Club What s
On, 26 Crescent Avenue, Coventry CV3 1HE".
Note that the old method of sending in an email is no longer available.
However, you can save a copy of the Multiple Event form on your
computer and use that for filling in and sending events to save being
on-line while you fill in the form. Note that you will need to submit
the form immediately after filling in.
